Area entertainers give concerts that are free to the public, performed in the bandstand on the Depot grounds except Aug 11*. Lots of room on the Depot's green and in the parking lot. "Minnie's Potatoes" is Lazebnik's story of the Hartman family struggles from Michigan's lumber era to farming and finally to bootlegging during Prohibition. Drawn from genealogical research, it's a tale full of surprising twists and turns of personalities, tough decisions and romantic encounters.
"Minnie's Potatoes" was released February 2016. Lazebnik is also author of "The Atomic Sailor" (2014) and "Strongheart, A Dog Who Was A Coward".
